AECEN has established an annual Award for Excellence to highlight outstanding service and commitment by a woman professional in the environmental compliance and enforcement field. The award is intended to recognize the important role women professionals are playing in the region to promote strong environmental governance. The award recognizes women who, in their official capacity within AECEN national or sub-national environmental agencies, have demonstrated an outstanding level of leadership, commitment and service, and have distinguished themselves by exemplary contributions.

The AECEN Secretariat is soliciting nominations from AECEN Members for the 2008 Award for Excellence. Nominations are due July 31, 2008. Please see further details on the factsheet and nomination form below.
