AECEN Award for Excellence.

AECEN has established an annual Award for Excellence to highlight outstanding service and commitment by a woman in the environmental compliance and enforcement field. The award is intended to recognize the important role women are playing in promoting strong environmental governance in Asia.

The award recognizes women who, in their official capacity either within AECEN national or sub-national environmental agencies or partner- institutions (judiciaries, academe, local government units, etc.), have demonstrated an outstanding level of leadership, commitment and service, and have distinguished themselves by making exemplary and tangible contributions to environmental compliance and enforcement.

NOMINATIONS

The AECEN Secretariat is soliciting nominations from AECEN Members for the 2011 Award for Excellence. The AECEN Secretariat is coordinating this process through direct communication with Members and through the AECEN website (www.aecen.org).
