Whistler, Canada

In conjunction with the INECE 9th International Conference, representatives from various regional networks working on environmental compliance and enforcement will get together on June 18 in Whistler, Canada. The meeting will focus on looking at good practices in managing networks, sharing tools to improve compliance at the regional level and developing a message on the importance of environmental compliance and enforcement in advance of the 2012 Earth Summit.

Selected members from AECEN will also act as resource persons during the conference proper from June 20-24, sharing accomplishments on twinning partnerships and task force updates in relation to green courts and environmental compliance assistance centers, among others.
