Indonesia Strengthens Environmental Inspection Capacities |

Jul 21 2009 On July 21, 2009, key officials and inspectors from Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment held a consultation workshop in Jakarta to discuss strategies for building environmental inspection capacities. The recommendations were based on a review and analysis of gaps in Indonesia's inspection mechanisms and strategies, and on insights gained from exchanges with their twinning partner, the Singapore National Environment Agency. The twinning is facilitated by the Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN).
