The Laguna Lake Development Authority conducted an AECEN-supported assessment of compliance assistance centers on July 29, 2009, in Pasig, Philippines.  The workshop focused on the achievements and challenges in the establishment and operations of compliance assistance centers for the hog farm and slaughterhouse industries in the Laguna de Bay region. 

With participants from industry, government agencies and representatives of compliance assistance centers in Thailand and India, the workshop identified key areas that need to be addressed to sustain the centers and ensure their continued effectiveness and impact.
