Hanoi – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) will conduct training sessions for environmental inspectors in southern, central and northern Vietnam in July to support the government's recent decision to strengthen environmental inspection. Trainees will include inspectors from MoNRE and the provincial Departments of Natural Resources and Environment.
The Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN) awarded its first- ever Award for Outstanding Service and Commitment by a Woman to Tang Xingqun, Deputy Director-General of the Chongqing Environmental Protection Bureau of the People’s Republic of China. The award was presented at AECEN’s Annual Forum held in Bali, Indonesia, November 24-26.
