IBM has high hopes for the future of pollution control in China

Date of Release:
Sep 1 2015

China, more specifically China’s capital Beijing, has been known for years as one of the most polluted cities. This is due to the high volume of traffic in the area, as well as the numerous factories that burn fuels on a daily basis. These fuels emit toxins into the air that are not easily cleared, which means those in the city are breathing in these toxins every day. After years of exposure to this type of air pollution, it might be hard to imagine a Beijing with no pollution at all, but IBM is working hard to make this a reality.
