On 22 September 2015, the Asian Environmental Compliance and Enforcement Network (AECEN) organised the AECEN Executive Committee Meeting to discuss progress of AECEN since the last meeting, budget/finance issues, expansion of mandate into EIA issues, organisational issues and future work plan. Over 21 senior officials from the environmental agencies of AECEN’s Executive Committee member countries – People’s Republic of China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam along with representatives from the development partners attended the meeting.
